WITHYHAM Buckhurst Park

Architect Humphrey Repton. Enlarged in 1903 by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Tudor Gothic
style. Two storeys. Seven windows. Stone. Tiled roof. Casement windows with stone
mullions and transoms. Tall stone chimney stacks. Entrance front has tall three-
storeyed porch. Five bays and two gables with finials on either side. Garden
front has three gables and two storeyed canted bays flanking them. Addition to
left with parapet over.
