House, formerly 2 cottages. C16 or earlier timber framed building altered in late
C19. Ground floor is late C19 brickwork in Flemish bond, 1st floor has exposed
timber framing with plaster infill. Thatched roof with panelled central brick
chimneystack. 2-storeys 2 windows. Gabled semi-dormers with C19 casements to
lst floor. Late C19 gabled weatherporches. Right side elevation is tile hung and
rear elevation has catslide roof with 6-light mullion to 1st floor. Early
C19 diaper bond brickwork to ground floor. 3 casements to ground floor and 2 gabled
doorcases with plank doors. Interior features include a stone open fireplace with
bressumer with run out stop above, a wider staircase and pintle hinges to front
door.
