Originally a large farmhouse, later converted into two cottages, now in course of
renovation. Large L-shaped C17 or earlier timber-framed house with red brick
infilling, part of the main or north front refaced with red brick and grey headers.
Stringcourse. Gable at west end of the north front. Casement windows with small
square panes. Massive crow-stepped chimney breast on west wall of west wing. Smaller
ditto on west wall of south wing. The east wall is now tile-hung and has a chimney
breast of brick, stone and flints. The south wall of the south wing also has a brick
chimney breast.
