Abbeylands Farmhouse

This house is said to take its name from a tiny hospital for sick clergy founded here
by one of the Bishops of Chichester. Restored C17 or earlier timber-framed building,
mostly refaced with red brick on ground floor and tile-hung above, but some timbering
still exposed. Tiled roof. Casement windows. Two storeys and attic in half-hipped
gable. File windows.
