Dated 1827. Mill of smock type converted into a house. Roundhouse painted
brick, above tarred weather-boarding now covered with bitumastic. The roundhouse
has been enlarged to serve as part of the dwelling. Octagonal pointed cap
with wooden platform round it. Sweeps and fantail missing. Modern windows.
No machinery inside. John Ireland, composer, formerly lived here.
