TQ 13 SW 6/84

This house is probably a C17 or earlier timber-framed building, restored,
refaced and enlarged in the early C20. On the outside the only hint of age
is a moulded bressumer in the centre of the south front. The house is H-shaped.
The old portion is the centre stroke. Two storeys. Four windows. Ground
floor red brick and grey headers, above faced with fishscale tiles. Horsham
slab roof. Casement windows. At each end is a later projection of one window-bay
with gable over in matching style. The north wings are also modern.
