Early C18 front; possibly earlier core. Frontage of similar height to that
of No 1A, higher more steeply pitched tiled roof with timber-framed construc-
tion visible in northern gable end; small stack to north of centre. Cornice
with modillions below eaves. Stringcourse above ground floor. Painted brick.
4 windows in all and 1 blocked opening in centre of 1st floor. Sash windows
with flush boxes in flat arches; thick glazing bars to upper floor windows,
(glazing bars missing in lower part of windows at north end). Recessed doors
in frames with entablatures over them; 6 panelled doors with top 4 panels in
No 3 cut away and glazed.

Nos 1 to 7 (consec) and No 9 form a group.
