17l2. Built for Henry Peckham, Chichester wine-merchant. 2 storeys, 7 windows
Red brick with brick quoins and carved and rubbed brick voussoirs. Stringcourse
above ground floor. Cornice with modillions above 1st floor. Panelled parapet,
Doorway up 9 steps with Corinthian pilasters, entablature and curved pediment; 6
panel moulded door; rectangular fanlight. Tall sash windows with flush
boxes in flat arches; glazing bars intact; narrow windows flanking doorway
and central window on 1st floor. Good staircase and panelling; large round-
headed window to staircase on east front.

Nos 1 to (consec) and No 9 form a group.
