C18 and early C19. 3 storeys or 2 storeys and attic. Highest fronts to
Nos 45 and 46 but all with lower fronts than No 44. Nos 45 and 46 under
same roof span; red tiled roof; dentilled eaves cornice. 3 storeys. No
45 painted brick. 2 window bays. Sash windows with flush boxes in flat
arches; painted brick voussoirs; glazing bars intact to 2nd floor windows
only. On ground floor modern shop front. No 46 with 1 window bay. Red
brick. Later C19 shop front on ground floor; modern doorway. No 47 has
front of same height, but lower slate roof. 1 window with st floor window
set much lower down in front. Red brick. Small early C19 shop front;
square oriel bay supported by iron brackets; small fascia over. Panelled
door, upper part glazed. Nos 48, 48A and 49 under same roof span. Lower
frontage and ridge line. 2 storeys and attic. Tiled roof with half hips.
3 dormers (2 hipped). Brick dentilled eaves cornice. Nos 48 and 48A: red
brick with 3 sash windows; glazing bars missing; rubbed brick voussoirs.
No 48 has a recent shop front and doorway. No 49 cemented. 1 window bay.
Sash window with margin lights and plate glass shop window on ground floor;
fascia continues over fanlight to doorway; panelled door with upper part
glazed.

Nos 35 to 49 (consec) form a group.
