C18, and Nos 55 and 56 possibly earlier. 2 storeys and attic. Tiled
roofs; No 54 with higher front and higher ridge line. 1 window each
but Nos 55 and 56 also have 1 blocked opening each on first floor. Nos
54 and 55 painted brick. No 56 cemented. Small brick dentilled eaves
cornices. Sash windows in flat arches with flush boxes; glazing bars
intact in Nos 54 and 55. Small C19 plate-glass shop fronts to Nos 55
and 56 canted in towards doorways; glazed doors with 2 fielded panels
at base and small rectangular fanlights. Late C19 shop front to No 54.

Nos 5O to 63 (consec) and The Ship Hotel together with No 5 Guildhall
Street form a group.
