Pair of C16 timber-framed cottages; refronted. 2 storeys with
slight overhang to first floor. Tiled gabled roof; 2 dormers; 1
hipped dormer to north. Plastered above; painted brick below.
3 3-light casement windows above. 3 shop fronts below. Centre
shop front: C19 square oriel bay with glazing bars, incorporating
doorway to north; fascia continues over to south. Lower timber-
framed east-west wing behind along St Peter's.

Nos 50 to 63 (consec) and The Ship Hotel together with No 5 Guildhall
Street form a group.
