St Mary's Hospital
SU 8604 NW 4/207 5.7.50.
Almshouses for women. Gatehouse and C14 hall and chapel under the roof.
Chimneys and small dwellinghouses of 2 rooms each were inserted in the
hall in 1680. Very fine open timber. C14 roof supported on massive
wooden posts (V.C.H).
