Timber-framed building with C18 front. 2 storeys and attic. Steeply
pitched red tiled gabled roof with truncated stack at northern end.
The attic storey is a modern addition. Painted brick with band above
ground floor. 2 window bays. Sash windows with flush boxes and square
heads; glazing bars intact. Large square window on ground floor
with small square panes; modern, but set in a fluted frame which
matches the door frame. Doorway with fluted frame and entablature with
flat hood over.
Panels of square timber-framing with plaster infilling exposed
in central north-south wall of house, both on ground and on 1st floors.
Large beams exposed in places in ceilings.
Original staircase of pine wood with turned balusters, pendant newel
posts, and closed string.
