C17 or earlier timber-framed building; 1st floor overhangs. C18 sash
windows. Tiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. 1 dormer. Plastered front.
3 sash windows on 1st floor; sash windows with flush boxes with glazing
bars intact; flat arches. To South on ground floor, an early C19 shop
front. Shallow 3-sided square oriel bay with vertical, glazing bars.
Central doorway; glazed door with rectangular fanlight over. In
Northern half, shop window with panels of glass separated by vertical
glazing bars.

Vicar's Hall and Crypt, Canon Gate and Nos 8 to 25 (consec) form a group.
