C18. 3 storeys but with frontage lower than in Nos 37-38. Red tiled
gable roof; central stack. 4 window bays. Small brick dentilled
cornice below eaves. Red brick and grey headers alternately. 2 windows
to the North much more widely spaced. Sash windows in reveals with
square heads; all glazing bars intact. Painted brick voussoirs; No 39
has a small C19 3-sided canted oriel shop window; Nos 40 and 41 have
modern shop windows, large areas divided by glazing bars.
