Hotel. The inn sign states that the inn is of C14 origin. The original portion is
the east section. This is a C17 or earlier timber-framed building refaced with stone.
The roof was originally of Horsham slab but has largely been replaced by tiles.
Casement windows. Two storeys. Four windows. The west section is a C19 addition
of three windows in red brick with a carriage archway through the ground floor at
the east end.
The building has a blue faience plaque on it stating that it has been statutorily
listed. (The former gallows inn sign to the east of the inn has been demolished).
