L-shaped building. The west half of the west wing is C17 or earlier timber-
framed building with red brick infilling. The remainder of the building dates
from the C18 and is of painted brick, except the east wall which is of flints,
painted. Tiled roof. Sash windows with glazing bars on first floor, modern
casements below. Half-hipped gable end to each wing with a circular window
in it.
