Now 2 houses. One building. This house has the modern date-stone 1622. Restored C15
timber-framed building with roughcast infilling and diagonal braces, the ground floor
refaced in red brick and part stone rubble. First floor of south and east fronts
tile-hung. Steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof with gables. Casement windows, some
with diamond-shaped or small square panes. 2 storeys. 4 windows. Off centre C17
brick chimney stack. The interior contains a crown post roof, now without braces or
collar beam as the roof has been heightened, brick inglenook fireplaces and stair
cupboard with panelled door having butterfly hinges.
