House. L-shaped building. The north end of the east front is dated 1687 with
the initials " W. S. " for William Shotter, who was probably an ironmaster. The
south end of the north east wing and the main part of the south west wing are C18.
Hythe sandstone. Tiled roof. Stringcourse. Tiled roof. Stone doorway with round arch.
Two casement windows on ground floor with stone mullions. The remainder sash
windows with glazing bars. Two storeys. Four windows facing east, three windows
facing south. Modern tile-hung extension to west of south west wing which has
three windows. Early C18 staircase with dog-gate.
