Originally Freshfield Farm. L-shaped house. North wing C17 or earlier timber-
framed building with red brick infiliing. Gable ends east and west with moulded
bargeboards and attic windows. Tiled roof. Casement windows. Two storeys.
Three windows. C17 or later wing or red brick and grey headers added at right
angles to south.
