C17 or earlier T-shaped timber-framed house.

Of two storeys and four bays, with gabled ends to the wings. All under a tiled roof with pentice on the south side of the south wing. The timbering is exposed and there is painted brick infilling on the north front, but otherwise it is refaced with tile-hanging. The windows throughout the building are casements.

The interior was not inspected.

REASONS FOR DESIGNATION
Walstead House is designated at Grade II for the following principal reason:
* Architectural Interest: A good example of a C17 or earlier timber-framed house.
