This house is situated on a hammer pond and was the ironmaster's house before Gravetye Manor was built. The main portion dates from 1500. The north-east bay was added later in the C16. The building was restored by William Robinson in 1887. Timber-framed house with plaster infilling and curved braces on first floor, the end walls stone. Horsham slab room. Casement windows. C19 gabled porch. Four windows.
