The former Stables at
Worth Abbey
TQ 33 SW 6/579A
Dated 1885. The main block is L-shaped. Two storeys. Six windows and 4 gables
facing south, 4 windows and 4 gables facing west. Ground floor red brick with
stone quoins and on a stone base, above half-timbering with plaster infilling.
Tiled roof. Casement windows. At the north end of the west front is a tower.
Ground floor stone, above red brick with stone quoins, parapet and projecting
staircase turret at south-west angle. Clock-face to each front. The Stables are
listed largely on account of the tower.
