6.4.70 (formerly listed as Nos
Formerly an Inn, now house pair. C15 or C16 timber-framed building, refronted in
C19. Ground floor red brick, first floor tile hung with alternate plain and curved
courses to bottom part and alternate plain and pointed to top part. Tiled roof,
half-hipped to left hand side. 2 storeys and attics, 3 windows. C19 casements.
No 1 has C18 doorcase with flat wooden hood, moulded architraves and 6 flush panelled
door, No 2 has square brick porch with hipped tiled roof. Off-central stack to
left hand side and square brick stack to right hand side. Catslide roof to rear,
with 1 gabled dormer and 1 modern flat dormer.
