Listing Text

5/128 Colwell House
House. c1840 in Neo-Classical style. Main part of 2 storeys stuccoed with
hipped slate roof with bracket eaves cornice. Three 8 pane sashes in moulded
architraves with feet below, the ground floor windows being tripartite and having
pediments over. Central porch with fluted Doric columns up 5 stone steps.
Extension to north west of 2 storeys 2 bays of lower elevation. South east
of garden elevation has tented canopy. Interior has period fireplaces and
staircase with stick balusters.
