Barn, in use as a garage. Assembled in C18 but incorporating reused C16 timbers.
5 bay barn timber framed on brick and sandstone plinth, with exposed framing
of thin scantling, except for massive jowled post to south, with diagonal tension
braces and infilled with cement render. Half-hipped tiled roof. East side has
exposed curved braces and 3 inserted mullioned windows and 4 centred wooden
door. Roof has queen struts and clasped purlins. Most of the upright posts
are C18 but a few have C16 gunstock jowels.
