6/202 No 98 (The Bent Arms Hotel)
Hotel. 2 builds, north part late C18, south part late C19 and not of special
interest. North part painted brick with hipped tiled roof. 2 storeys, 3 windows.
16 pane sashes in moulded architraves to 1st floor, 2 tripartite sashes with horns
to ground floor. Simple cambered doorcase. Late C18 scrolled wrought iron inn
sign fixture. North elevation to Bushes Lane has Venetian window, probably a 1st
floor assembly room. Brick chimney stack to rear. Interior contains heterogeneous
collection of architectural salvage.
