Gates and gatepiers. c1884 by C E Kempe. 2 square sandstone piers with domed
caps, bearing sculptures of 2 bishops or archbishops in clerical robes approached
up 5 stone steps with sandstone balustrade. Cast and wrought iron gates with elab-
orate scrollwork dograils and scrolled piers.
