Sailors' Home, was offices. 1856 for 4th Duke of Northumberland. Basement and two storeys, five bays. Ashlar basement with plinth; snecked sandstone upper floors; low-pitched Welsh slate roof. Tall voussoirs to surround of double door with fanlight in sixth bay; moulded sills to first floor windows with architraves, friezes and pediments; projecting sills to second floor, all sashes with glazing bars. One pedimented window on ground floor in left return. Moulded plinth, higher at left on slope, supports giant end pilasters. Eaves gutter cornice and blocking course.
