House, now 2 separate dwellings. Mid C18. Brick with rendered plinth and ashlar
dressings; Welsh slate roof. 3 storeys, 3 windows. Two 4-panelled doors inserted in
centre have overlights, that at left of 3 panes, beneath rendered panel replacing
former shop fascia; C19 type sashes, inserted in bricked-in shop fronts,have
projecting stone sills. Glazing bars to sash windows on upper floors, tripartite
in outer bays, under cambered brick arches on first and soldier course lintels on
second floors. Second floor band. Slightly swept eaves; 2 end brick chimneys. Interior:
brick-vaulted oven in cellar has large and small doors with wrought-iron hinges and
spring-ended latches. Included partly for group value.
