R.C. presbytery. 1893-5 by C. Walker of Newcastle. Snecked sandstone
with ashlar dressings; Welsh slate roof with flat stone gable copings.
Style of a C17 manor house. 2 storeys; 3 bays x 2. North elevation: central
low porch has slit window in gable peak, door and 2-light window in right
return. Flanking one-storey porches under 2-light sash windows; all windows
mullioned in plain surrounds. Roof has copings (on gabled kneelers),
fleur-de-lis finials, 2 transverse corniced ashlar chimneys. Included partly
for group value with Church of St. Patrick.
