Stables. 1746 by Daniel Garrett for George Bowes, Sandstone ashlar, Welsh slate roof. Square plan ground courtyard. Palladian style. Two stages, nine windows. Pedimented central section has double door flanked by round-arched niches with impost bands; three windows in architraves above. One bay slightly set back at either side contains niche in lugged architrave under bracketed cornice; window in architrave above. High coped parapet to these five bays. Two bays set back either side have raised surrounds to door and windows. Glazing bars to all windows. Hipped roof.
