8/65 Bullock Steads farmhouse.
27 August 1952

House. Late C18 with C19 additions and alterations. English garden wall bond brick
(4 and one courses) with ashlar dressings; Welsh slate roof with bargeboards and
2 ashlar-banded yellow brick end chimneys; snecked sandstone additions at rear. L-plan,
2 storeys, 3 windows. Central renewed door in raised stone surround; wedge stone
lintels and renewed projecting stone sills to wide boxes of sashes with glazing bars.
Outshut at rear, raised and extended in snecked sandstone; 2-storey, l-bay right rear
wing has horizontal sliding sash windows.
