Row of 3 cottages; not of one build. C17 with C18/early C19 refronting; No.13
possibly mid-C19 front. Brick with tile roof and brick ridge and end
chimneys; Vine Cottage has simple brick cornice. Vine Cottage 3-unit plan,
others 2-unit; wings to rear. One storey and attic with 7 dormers. Three C20
doors, one C19 plank door to passage to rear. Vine Cottage has mostly late
C18/early C19 casements and original dormers; other cottages have mid-C20
casements and dormers. Doors and windows under segmental arched heads. Vine
and School Cottages have door hoods on shaped brackets. Interior: School
Cottage has some exposed timber framing and broad-chamfered ceiling beam. No.13
is said to have an inglenook fireplace.
