Pair of cottages. C17 origins with later additions and alterations. Timber
framed, mostly faced in brick and with some stone, whitewashed, with painted
imitation framing. One corner post and area of thin framing exposed on
right. 2 seperate tile roofs, half-hipped on left, hipped on right. Brick
chimney on left corner and external lias stack with brick shaft to right return
wall. 2 unit double depth plan. 2 storeys, right half taller and set back
slightly. 2 ground floor windows, one on first floor right. Central C19 plank
door with trellis porch. Another door to left return wall. C19 and C20
casements, under segmental heads on right. Some exposed framing with big
braces to 1st floor on right side. Interior of No.11: exposed framing in same
rooms, open fireplace with roughly chamfered bressumer. Late C20 additions.
