House, latterly two houses. Late C16/C17 with C19 and late C20 alterations and additions. Timber framed with plaster infill, left section of whitewashed brick. Late C20 tile roof. Big central lias stack faced with brick to front has three diagonally set brick shafts; brick external stack to right end. Original plan indeterminate. One storey and attic, four raked roof dormers. One C19 plank door; another door replaced with a window. Late C20 casements. Central section projects forward with catslide roof down to door and recess on left. Two-window range to right has separate roof and small dormer; on left more timber framing, mid C19 section and late C20 end. Exposed framing to right end and part of rear.

Interior: No.65 has exposed framing, winder stairs.
