Barn, early C17. Corrugated iron cladding over timber frame set on stone and C19
brick plinth; gabled plain tile and corrugated iron roof. 3-bay plan with central
threshing floor. Double-entries to threshing floor, with C19 plank doors to south
side. Interior: exposed timber frame with studs of heavy scantling, mid rails and
diagonal corner bracing; jowled posts with downward bracing to cill beams of
partitions flanking stone-flag threshing floor; side-strut trusses with trenched
purlins and diagonally-set ridge purlin.
