Pair of shops and dwellings. No. 7 now a house, No. 9 vet's surgery. Early C19.
Red brick with brick dentil cornice. Slate roof; no chimneys visible. L-plan. 3
storeys; 2-window range. Good contemporary double shop front: recessed glazed
doors and bay windows with glazing bars, narrow panels and fascia. Narrow
entrance on left to passage to rear. Entrance and part of No. 7 now form part of
adjoining building, Nos. 3-7 (q.v.). First and second floors have sash windows
with gauged brick flat arches. Long 2-storey contemporary brick wing to rear of
No.7. Interior not inspected.
