Pair of shops, now houses. Mid C19. Red brick with moulded brick cornices. Slate
roof; brick ridge stacks. L-plan. 3 storeys; 3-window range. Pair of good
contemporary shop fronts: each has 6-panelled door and overlight with glazing
bars, projecting windows with glazing bars, wood pilaster strips with simple
incised ornament, and fascia. Central window. Sashes with gauged brick flat
arches. Lower second-floor windows with painted wood lintels. Left return side
of No.18 has single window to each floor. Interior not inspected.
