Pair of shops. Mid C19. Brick, with wood box cornice and paired modillions. Slate roof; no chimneys visible. L-plan. 3 storeys; 2-window range. Contemporary shop fronts have paired entrances with late C20 glazed doors, bow windows, and continuous fascia with paired modillions. Plank door on left to through passage. On upper floors No. 16 has 16-pane sashes; No.18 has C20 casements. Rendered flat arches with keyblocks.
