House, now bank and offices. C17 with early C18 (VCH) front range and early/mid C18 alterations. Timber framed with whitewashed brick infill. Front range of colourwashed brick with brick string course and plaster eaves cove. Late C20 tile roof; brick stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys and attic; 5-window range. Corner piers. Late C20 double-leaf doors and overlight, and mid C19 plaster doorcase with simple pilasters and heavy entablature. Window to left with mid C19 plaster surround. Ground floor has C20 windows. First floor has four 4-pane sashes with gauged brick flat arches. Carriage arch to right has range with thin framing and C20 casement over. To rear: More exposed framing. 2 timber-framed wings, with C19 brick additions. Side entrance has panelled door, reeded doorcase and hood on shaped brackets. Interior: Fine mid C18 dog-leg staircase has leaf-scroll strings, turned balusters and panelled dado. Half-landing has 2 round headed panelled doors and architraves.
