House, now shops and flat. C17, with late C18/early C19 front range and C19
additions. Timber framed with lath and plaster infill. Front range and part of
rear of whitewashed brick, with brick dentil cornice. Old tile roof; brick
internal stacks. Through passage L-plan, extended to U-plan. 2 storeys and
attic; 4-window range. C19 shop fronts have 2 half-glazed doors with overlights
in moulded wood surrounds, and 3 bays with shafts. First floor has 4-pane sashes
with shallow gauged brick segmental arches. Attic with 3 casement dormers. To
rear timber framed wing, largely rebuilt in whitewashed brick. Interior said to
have some exposed framing.
