House, now bank. c.1790. Brick, with wood dentil cornice. Late C20 tile roof;
brick ridge stacks. L-plan. Late Georgian style. 3 storeys; 3-window range.
Stucco porch with double leaf 6-panelled door and panelled intrados, fluted
pilasters, entablature with husk garlands and paterae, dentils and pediment.
Ground and first floors have 2 Venetian windows recessed within gauged brick
relieving arches, on ground floor without glazing bars. Second floor has
Diocletian windows. Central windows have gauged brick flat arches. Wing to
Bleachfield Street and rear have brick dentil cornices. Interior altered.
Important position closing vista down High Street.
