Pair of cottages, formerly 3. Timber framed. No.27 is largely underbuilt in
rendered brick. Old tile roof; large rendered brick external stack with lias
plinth. No.29 has whitewashed brick infill. Late C20 tile roof; large
whitewashed brick external stack: with fire window. L-plan. 2 storeys; 4-window
range. Entrance to No.27 in left corner has open brick porch adjoining external
stack with fire window. Central entrance to No.29, Both have C20 studded doors.
Irregular fenestration: C19 and C20 casements with glazing bars of various
patterns. Left return side of No.27 has C20 stable door beneath archway, and
further late C19/C20 wing. Irregular fenestration. Right return side of No.29
has external stack. To rear: Exposed framing, with some lath and plaster infill.
Interior of No.27: Exposed framing and broad-chamfered ceiling beams. 2 open
fireplaces. Flagstone floors. C20 additions to rear.
