House. C16 origins, C17 and C18; C19 refronting, and early C20 additions. Timber
framing with lath and plaster infill, and whitewashed brick. Old tile and
concrete tile roofs; brick ridge sacks and lias external stack. Complex plan.
One storey and attic and 2 storeys; 3-window range. Main range has one exposed
post. Entrance at left end of main range has small gabled brick porch with
carved panelled door. Irregular fenestration. Casements, some with glazing bars,
some with leaded lights. 2 ground floor windows have brick segmental arches.
Dormer in angle. Early C20 wing projects on right. Windows to front and left
side. Late C18/early C18 wing on left probably formerly a separate cottage, but
is incorporated into main house with single storey C19/C20 link. Exposed large
thin framing. Concrete tile roof, One unit plan. One storey and attic, with
ground floor window. Left return side has large external stack. Interior: Some
exposed close studding, Left wine said to be opened up into a single room with
exposed timber framing. Other rooms said to have exposed beams.
