Stable and loose boxes, probably former shelter shed. C17/C18, with C18/C19
alterations and additions. Timber framed with tension braces and brick infill;
and some weatherboarding and planks; high brick plinth. Old tile roofs. L-plan.
Stable double-plan, with hayloft. Weatherboard outshut added across front.
Stable door; stable and hayloft doors inside outshut. Return sides have jowled
posts; right side has hayloft door. To rear: central doorway and 2 small
windows. 5-bay loose boxes. 4 bays probably formerly open, now filled in with
weatherboarding and planks. 2 plank doors. Small window. End wall rebuilt in
brick. To rear: Exposed framing. Interior: Stable has 2 wooden troughs and
fragments of hayracks.
