Farmhouse. c.1835. Rendered, with some stone and moulded stone string course and
cornice. Slate roofs with parapets and gable parapets; rendered stacks. U-plan.
Gothic Revival style. 2 storeys; 5-window tinge. Central castellated porch with
turrets and 4-centred arched doorway. Double-leaf, 4-panelled door, with
4-centred panels. Central arched window in blank arch. Shaped gable with finial.
Straight-headed windows with paired 4-centred sashes. Hood moulds throughout.
Wings have castellated canted bay windows on ground floor, with arched windows
above. Gable parapets with finials. Plain return sides and rear. Interior not
inspected. Probably built in association with Studley Castle (q.v.).
