Farmhouse. C17; refaced and altered mid/late C19. Timber framed; square framing
with brick infill; front refaced in brick, mid C19 to right, mid C20 to left.
Old tile roof; C19 brick ridge and external stacks to rear. L-plan with wing to
rear. One storey and attic; 4-window range. Central single storey projection
with lean-to roof has mid/late Cl9 half-glazed door and tile hood with openwork
bargeboards. Casement. Single storey projecting on right has 2 windows and C20
glazed door. Further ground floor windows on left and on right with brick
segmental arch. Casement. late C19/C20 on ground floor, mid/late C19 on first
floor. Dormers with openwork bargeboards. Right return side has gable with
exposed framing. Left return side has heavy tiebeam. To rear: Exposed ironing.
on right has end stack. Irregular fenestration, with single C20 dormer.
Interior: Exposed framing and ceiling beams. 2 open fireplaces, one blocked. Old
quarter turn staircase; C20 staircase. Flagstone floors. First floor has wide
floorboards. Old plank and C19 six-panelled doors.
