Pair of cottages. C17 with C19 and C20 additions and alterations. Timber framed
with whitewashed brick infill. No. 29 on left has addition of rendered brick with
brick dentil cornice and sham framing. No.31 partly underbuilt in whitewashed
brick. Old tile roof; brick end and internal stacks. No.31 two-unit plan No.29
is one-unit extended to two-unit. One storey and attic with dormers; No.31
two-window range. No.29 one-window. No.29 has C20 porch with half-glazed door.
No.31 has C20 door under segmental brick arch. Late C20 casements. Right return
side of No.31 has exposed farming. Interiors not inspected, but said to have
exposed framing.
