GV II

House. Mid/late C18, with C19 rear wing; altered late C20. Regular coursed
ironstone. Slate roof has moulded coped gable parapets; stone end stacks.
Central staircase plan, extended and altered to L-plan, with wing on left to
rear. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Central doorway partially blocked
with window inserted. Leaded 3-light wood mullioned and transomed and central
cross-windows have painted wood lintels. Entrance in right return side has C18
moulded 6-panelled door and overlight. Mid/late C20 flat roofed open porch with
cut-out frieze. Interior noted as having straight flight staircase with turned
balusters, not in situ. Included for group value.
